What are accomodations like?
Top notch. The heart of Alaskan Experiences is the Sea Ranger, a 120-foot long ocean-going tug. It was built to serve in WWII, running supplies across the Pacfic to Hawaii. But the men who served on the good ship wouldn't recognize her today. She has been completely refitted with delux, double or triple-occupancy staterooms, each featuring fully modern, private shower and washroom facilities. The lodge has 24-hour electricity, hot and cold running water, and all the conveniences one could want to make your stay as relaxing as possible.
Food is as important as rooms, and ours is excellent and bountifully supplied. Our Culinary Academy-trained chef prepares all your meals on the Sea Ranger, which include hearty breakfasts, large, full course dinners consisting of fresh seafood, steak, fruits, veggies, and home-baked breads and pastries daily. Snacks, sandwiches, and plenty of beverages are served for lunch while out fishing and are available whenever you want to nibble. You can expect to arrive back at the floating lodge after a full day of fishing to indulge in wonderful hors d’oeuvres and complementary drinks.
