How do I get there?

Airplanes! After an overnight in the beautiful city of Sitka, a chartered seaplane flight (in Alaska they're called floatplanes) with Harris Air takes you from the airport straight to us in the Bay of Pillars (the floatplane costs are included in the overall package price).

Getting to Sitka is easy. Alaska Airlines has two flights overfrom Juneau per day, one arriving at 11:15 and the other at 23:00. Juneau is a "hub" airport and has several flights per day from Anchorage and Seattle.

For your overnight in Sitka (time well spent) there are a number of hotels and bed and breakfasts that are easily found online. Just from a number-of-rooms perspective, the Westmark and the Totem Square Inn would be a good place to begin, and we can help you decide when we set up your AE reservation.

Alaska Airlines return flights depart Sitka at 6:00 and 18:45. We recommend the second flight, as we can have the floatplane get you back to the Sitka airport at the right time to give you just a short layover before you head for the jet.
